That Is How WE Ourselves Trained. 

We earned our Tier-1 Instructor Certifications, Training in the Rain, in the Heat, and in the Bitter Cold of North Carolina in November and March, with soldiers from Ft. Bragg, Marines from Camp Lejuene, and Dept. of Defense Intelligence Operatives from US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) from Tampa, and in the drenching rains of the Northwest Tennessee springtime. 

SO, We Know that you're asking "What is the meaning of Tier-1 Standard?" 

Tier-1 is the training standard of the highest level United States Special Mission Units under the US Joint Special Operations Command  (JSOC), including the Army's 1st Special Forces, i.e. Delta Force, aka  "The Unit;" The Navy's Special Warfare Command, aka DEVGRU, i.e. Seal Team Six; as well as that of Tier-2 Units like the MARSOC Raiders, i.e. Marine Special Operations Command, & Force Recon.   

The Standard can be described as Dynamic, Aggressive, Mobile, Efficient, and Incredibly Accurate Tactical Shooting under extreme stress and conditions. No mistakes are allowed or acceptable. They are trained away with a focus on a Brilliance in the Basics.®
